So....it's the biannual sign in....

Well, well. So, I am no good at checking in on this thing. No one is reading it anyway, so I don't suppose it matters. Went to vegas in October and Hawaii for Thanksgiving. Still working with spinal cord injury patients 5 DAYS A WEEK! I love what I do, but I feel sometimes that the life is being sucked out of me. I am not an office worker, nor am I a five day a weeker. Met with a kite-surfing instructor in Maui that quit his job as an engineer to kite surf full time. He may be on to something. I am also thinking that Maui might not be the worst place to retire from whatever it is I end up doing when I grow up. My Reynaud's can only withstand the snow for so much longer. Still living with Chrissy and loving every minute of our life together. I feel there are more adventures to come. Where shall I travel next?

It's May Already??

I need to update this more often. It is May 2nd. Spent the day being lazy which was absolutely fantastic! The last few months have been filled with camping, climbing and a brief job at Hooters. I will try to put in a few photos of some of the past few adventures. Two weeks ago I hiked to the summit of Mt Olympus with my love and our good friend, Scott. Absolutely gorgeous. It's times like those that remind me that I need to do something greater with my life. It is too short. Too short to spend working it away. Life should be full of adventures and excitement. Filled with helping others. I ran into an old friend at the gym the other day...he told me that "getting old", whatever that means, is no fun and he's spent it getting the 'house' and the 'cars' and for what? I told him he was right - for nothing. I would much rather spend my money LIVING life than working away to earn the things we are taught we need to have. I want to work to live, not live to work.
